On Sunday my family and I went into Boston with my Grampy's family and went to St. Margaret's Church. After we went into Boston and went to the Boston Tea Party and Ships Museum, and first checked out the gift shop, then we went into a little tea and pastries cafe' and I got a chocolate chip cookie, and a bottled water. Mmmmmm..... it was so good! But I did get my hands chocolaty Next, we went to a replica ship, and I dumped tea into the harbor! A tourist took us down the stairs to some beds, and George Washington writing some letters, and there were a lot of barrels. Where the beds were you could hear some people talking. Example ( "Be quiet".) Then we went up stairs and checked out Thu boat, and took family photo. After that, we went into a dark room where the background was the harbor, and these 2 ladies were having a argument. After that, we saw this thing about a old chest that was once full of tea, and dumped into the harbor. It looked really old. Then we went to a room with paintings, and 2 of them started talking. The 2 men were: Samuel Adams, and King George III. It was so cool because they made it so it looked like they were talking. So realistic! then we went into a room that had a movie called "Let it Begin Here." It had really loud noises like gunshots. Last but not least, we went back to the gift shop. Me and Sharon were poking people with this fake pirate knife, that when you poked a person with it it went in, and when you took it out it was a knife again. Then we all went back to our cars, and went to the Legal Harborside. I got salmon with corn and mashed potatoes. When it was time for desert we had a cake with 80 candles plus 1 for good luck. And it had my Grampy's high school picture on it. I will always remember that very FUN and SPECIAL birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a wonderful day! I bet your Grampy loved his cake with all of those candles! How cool that you got to take part in dumping tea overboard. That sounds like such a fun event! When my boys are older, I'd love to take them into Boston to do that. =)
