Mom and Grandma's Birhtday

My Mom and Grandma's birthday is really on the 26th, but we celebrated part of it. My Grandma came up, and my 2 aunts, Auntie Meg, and Auntie Shana. First we went to the Museum of Fine Arts, witch is located in Boston. We left at 1:45,and left at 4:15. Anyways, the pieces of art were truly amazing. There were a lot by Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gogh. Those artists are very good!! What was cool was that some of the pieces of art were made out of clay, wood (etc.) And it showed me how they have very different styles of art in different cultures. And a lot of the paintings were based on a real time, or person, or a thing, or a pattern. That my first time there, but it was AWESOME!! Then at 4:10 we started to walk out of the museum, but our car wasn't there yet so we just sat down on the bench. Finally, I saw a blue traverse pull up, and I said "Come on guys, I see our car!" So we walked to the car, and all got in it.

Secondly, when we had gotten on the car, we were headed to the Charles Playhouse to see a Blue Man Group production. We had to park in the parking garage, and then head up the elevator. It was a little bit hard to find a parking spot, but we found one on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Once we got out, we were very excited to go on the elevator, because we were so excited to go to the show! We got into the elevator, with 1 other family. In fact, they were also going to see the Blue Man Group! We pressed the G button. Swipe, slip, the elevator was going down. My ears popped a little bit. When we got to the ground, we started walking to the Charles Playhouse. You know how in the cites, they have those things where you have to press the button to walk across the streets, well we had some of those. I looked up, and sure enough I saw the sign that read Charles Playhouse with the Blue Man group on it. So we walked in, and we waited in a short line, and when it was our turn, our family gave the man our tickets for the show. After our family gave the man our tickets, we walked up the stairs, and into the theatre. There was this girl that was telling the people that walked in where their seats were. She told us where our seats were, and we walked right down the aisle and sat down in our seats. Flynn, my Grandma, and my Auntie Meg were sitting in the row that I was sitting in. It was the back row. But my Mom, Dad, and my other aunt Auntie Shana, were in front of us. We started talking, until a waiter came up to us, and asked us if we wanted a drink.

"Sure!" we said. And we all ordered drinks. In a few minutes, the lights turned off. An announcement went on, and said "We can tell that Dorothy has a headache." And then it told us to say "We are sorry that you have a headache." So that's what we did. After they made those funny announcements, the show started. My favorite parts were when 1 of the blue men started throwing gumballs into another blue mans mouth, and the blue man was spraying the different colors of the gumballs onto a white cardboard tipe of thing, and when on of the blue men went up in my row, and took a teenager up on the stage and sat down at the table with her, but 1 of the blue men put a blue top on her, connected to a black skirt to look like she was a blue women, instead of a man, and they started eating Twinkies, and at 1 part when they were eating Twinkies, Twinkie that was mushed up, and was like a cream, started coming out of the little holes in their outfits. It was gross but funny. Towards the end of the show, I noticed that there was toilet paper right above me, but it was stuck, so my Auntie Meg gave it a little tug, and it started rolling down on me. It was so, so, so, so, so, so, so, EPIC!!!!!!!!!! We were pushing it forward, and Auntie Meg and I were shaking the toilet paper. Also VERY EPIC!!!!!! The last thing I loved was at the finale when these HUGE!! And I mean HUGE balls, were being passed around the theatre. Our family would just be right there, but our fingertips just wouldn't touch it. the people would always bounce it away in front of my Mom's row. And those were my favorite parts!!!

Third, we went out to restaurant called Legal Seafood. We literally had the best waiter in the world!! Her name was Sherina. She was very nice. When my Dad reserved some spots, he just that we had a birthday in the family, and they gave us our own little private  room, called the Governor's Room. She asked us if we wanted to close the door? And we wanted to because you basically never get to do that. Auntie Meg made a beautiful toast, each a candle because it represented my Mom as a light in our lives. I thought the toast was very meaningful. When we ordered, I got fish-shaped ravioli with cheese inside with red grapes, and fries. It was very yummy!! I devoured it. For dessert they made a cake with a picture of my Mom on it. It was also very yummy! When we got home, and my Mom opened my present, she was so delighted. I got her a $50 gift card on Groupon,(app on the I-pad that gives you better prices on shows, and stuff like that). And my card really touched her heart.

Snow Tubing

When I still lived in Falmouth in my school's camp we went snow tubing at Nashoba Valley. I had to have all of my snow gear, like my snow pants, boots, gloves, and a hat. So we walked into the school early, and half of the kids were already there. The instructor welcomed us and said good morning, and hello. I had some of my gear on, but then I noticed that I didn't have my boots! I told Tina (One of the school teachers there, and a helper of the camp) that I didn't have my snow boots, but I knew I had brought them. She told Flynn to call my Dad on her phone, so he did, and my Dad answered and said "Oh yeah I think their in my cars trunk." He was on his way to work, but he was nice enough to come back with them. I was so happy that I had got my snow  boots again!

Soon enough we were on the bus and rolling on the highway. Flynn and I were listening to music on our mp3 players. This kid sitting in the back of us, kept asking us if he could listen to a song. Sometimes he would grab our headphones of our head. We kept saying "Please stop." But we finally got there. We had to pick a partner to got snow tubing with. Me and this girl in the 4th grade decided to be partners. Everybody lined up to get their tags to clip on your coats. We finally got in line to go up to the mountain. When it was my turn I was very excited. He clipped me on this thing with my snow tube and it took me up to the mountain. When I reached the to top of the mountain I got to the shortest line I could find with my partner. Although they were all pretty long, but at least it would be a little shorter.

When it was my turn, I got in my tube and I went flying down the mountain!! It was so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a ton of times, and then it was time for lunch, so we went to the picnic tables and started eating our lunches. Yum! Yum! Yum! I had a lunchable. That was my first time on a mountain, and it was very FUN!!

Movie Review: 2: The Lego Movie

This is a really good movie. It is all made out of Legos, that's what makes it cool. This guy named Emmett, has a daily routine he does in the morning, like getting dressed taking a shower, etcetera. It was really cool for me to see how its all  made out of Legos, because I never knew how bubbles looked like in Legos, when he was in the shower. He also went to the coffee shop, on the T.V. there is this show on called "Honey where are my pants?" So funny! Emmett meats a lot of people in the movie. There are 2 worlds, but there are a lot of city settings. Emmett meets people and some animals. Kids love it, and so do adults. It's really cool. My Dad liked the movie, and so you might like it.

Movie Review: 1:The Nut Job

I think this was a very good movie, I would rate it 5 stars. Some squirrels want to find some nuts, but it's very hard. They try a lot of different places, like a little nut stand that is locally on the sidewalk, and in a nut store. And Greyson ( one of the squirrels red fox color) makes a lot of plans. He is also very sneaky. This movie is very detailed. Sometimes they almost get caught! But do they? You have to watch the movie to find out! I would recommend this movie for kids, and adults! This is a fiction movie, and it's an animated movie, but that makes it more fun!! It has tons of settings including the trees, a store, basement, (etc.) this is also a very exciting movie, containing fast sounds, and dialogue. This also contains a lot of nut scenes. And just remember, it's not only for kids! Be ready for the next movie review!
